Kinor Bakikar is an elegant, kosher chef’s restaurant, under Badatz Beit Yossef supervision. The restaurant places an emphasis on meat dishes and also serves fish, seasonal salads and breads baked especially for you. The restaurant is located in Jerusalem’s Music Square, in the exclusive residential and cultural complex in Nahalat Sheva, with a host of boutique stores, a museum and a gallery in the area, and there are live performances in the square on a daily basis. The restaurant occupies a large space of 200 square meters, divided into two areas - the interior, which is suitable for spending some quiet time, and the open area, which overlooks Music Square and its live performances.
The restaurant was designed by architect Sabrin Zitman, who chose luxury sofas, elegant parquet flooring and a unique combination of colors ranging from brown, white, pink and fuchsia. At the very heart of the restaurant is a Josper oven, especially brought over from Italy, where the meat is roasted. There are pictures of violins on the walls, and all the waiters wear white shirts and papillons.
The dishes served are familiar and beloved, but are all cooked in a modern style using the highest quality ingredients. That’s how the dishes we all know are imbued with new and emphasized flavors. Behind the pots in the kitchen is Chef Kobi Katani, who earned a great reputation running the kitchen of a successful restaurant in Australia, and in Israel cooked at the Muza Bahar restaurant.
Beyond being a great place to eat, Kinor Bakikar is a place for fun cultural entertainment.
